Chef Kevin King started his culinary journey in 1988 in the United States Marine Corps as a Food Service Specialist, which allowed him to taste cuisine from around the world.
Since leaving the service he has gone on to work with some fabulous chefs, learning from each one of them. He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Houston in Culinary Arts. He worked at several restaurants and private country clubs in Houston before taking charge of the kitchens at Sugar Creek Country Club, Pecan Grove Plantation Country Club, and Riverbend Country Club....where he honed his skills to open his own catering company, Chef King's Catering.
And, now Chef Kevin is proud to announce the opening of Chef King's at 800 N. Shoreline Blvd in the lower level at One Shoreline Plaza in beautiful Corpus Christi, Texas.
Chef King's is a unique restaurant experience in that we create a new and exciting menu weekly, with a few local favorites. Creativity, quality, and fun are what we serve best!
